This one-time orientation training is designed to familiarize all volunteers with our policies for protecting the children, youth, and vulnerable individuals we serve—as well as protecting our volunteers—from situations involving abuse.
Who Needs to Attend:
Anyone serving with children, youth, or vulnerable individuals at JNBC is required to complete this orientation once. After completing it, volunteers will participate in a brief annual one-hour refresher to stay updated on best practices and policy changes.
Why It Matters:
During the session, we’ll review key safety protocols, reporting procedures, and recent updates. This is also a valuable time to reflect together on why creating a safe, supportive environment is essential for everyone involved in ministry.
